Scattered Seeds is the quarterly publication of the JGSPBCI available to our members via e-mail as a PDF attachment, or by regular mail at no charge. It is also sent to other Jewish Genealogical Societies worldwide on an exchange basis. Copies can be found in many libraries as well. Our JGSPBCI library keeps a copy of every issue. Back issues are available at a minimal charge of $3.50. Recent back issues are available for downloading in PDF format, as listed below:
The newsletter began publication in 1992, starting out as a small black
and white four-page bulletin. Gradually, Scattered Seeds grew,
with the Winter 2007 issue a healthy 20 pages in full color. Over the years,
our Society adopted a logo and the most recent version can now be seen on
the front page of every issue.
Each editor has attempted to keep our members informed of the latest information
available in Jewish genealogy as well as providing data on meetings and
special events. Members are urged to provide short family histories or other
genealogical material for publication.
